We are thrilled to announce that the Circular Economy Awards 2025 winners will be revealed on the 15th of October during the FINNO 2025 – Digital. Green. Sustainable. conference, taking place from 15–17 October in Hotel Splendid, Budva, Montenegro.
During this special one-hour session, the Western Balkans Circular Economy Hub will be officially presented, followed by the announcement of the award winners across seven categories – celebrating the region’s most inspiring circular pioneers, innovators, and changemakers.
After receiving 55 applications from across the Western Balkans, the jury, composed of representatives from the Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy (IECE), the Chambers of Commerce of the WB6 countries and Elin Bergman from Cradlenet, selected the most outstanding initiatives advancing the circular transition. In addition to the main awards, special recognitions will be presented to seven other high-impact initiatives.
The seven categories in which one winner for each was selected are the following:
- Circular Economy Pioneer
- Corporate Leadership in Circular Economy
- Innovative Circular Design
- Circular Start-Up
- Municipal Circular Leadership
- Civil Society Circular Economy
- Circular Economy Education and Research
About FINNO 2025:
The FINNO 2025 conference – titled Digital. Green. Sustainable. will gather key actors from the innovation ecosystem, policy makers, SMEs, startups, researchers, business support organizations, and partners from the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) across the Western Balkans and Europe.
