The fourth WBCEH members meeting for 2026 will take place on 30 April from 10:00-11:30, bringing together Hub members for updates, exchange and a focused discussion on circularity and transparency in the fashion sector.

The meeting will coincide with Fashion Revolution Week, a global movement launched after the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh, which took the lives of more than 1,100 garment workers and became a turning point for the sustainable fashion movement. The discussion will highlight why the textile and fashion sector remains highly relevant for the circular economy, and why transparency, traceability, reuse and responsible production are becoming increasingly important for businesses in the Western Balkans.

1. WBCEH updates
The meeting will open with updates from the Hub, including recent activities, ongoing initiatives and upcoming opportunities for members.

2. Fashion Revolution Week, circular fashion and transparency
This session will feature three inspiring women working towards a more sustainable, circular and just fashion industry.

• Ema Jakimovska, Fashion Revolution Macedonia will present the work of the local Fashion Revolution chapter, founded in 2015 by Ana and Ema Jakimovski. The organisation raises awareness on sustainable fashion through educational events, promotion of local sustainable brands, and support for second-hand culture.
• Natali Ristovska, YOVA will introduce the concept of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and explain how it can support transparency, traceability and market competitiveness. YOVA is the first Macedonian brand to implement a DPP, providing verified product-level information and aligning with upcoming EU requirements.
• Tijana Cresenzi, Vinstreet.mk will present Vinstreet, the leading platform for buying and selling second-hand clothing in Macedonia. Since its launch in October 2025, the platform has been growing steadily and introducing new functionalities to make the resale of pre-loved fashion easier and more accessible.

3. Mapping WBCEH members’ needs and resources with the Kumu tool
As in previous meetings, members will be invited to contribute to the mapping of resources, by-products, needs and collaboration opportunities through the Kumu tool, helping make the Hub’s regional network more visible and connected.

4. Informal networking session
The final part of the meeting will be dedicated to open exchange, allowing members to introduce their work, share ideas and explore potential cooperation.
